144: Running on Fun and Laughter w/ Mark Remy

Looking for a running buddy who is going to make you laugh, give you great tips, and talk about the state of running? Then you’ve come to the right place! Mark Remy is hysterical as he shares why he wrote The Runner's Rule Book: Everything a Runner Needs to Know—And Then Some, Runners of North America: A Definitive Guide to the Species. We also get into what things he thinks people are overthinking, funny things he has written in his books, why running has taken off, the subject of PRs, and the marathons that left him feeling “meh.”

Our friend, Serena Marie, RD, is here to share her top five tips for losing fat (sometimes when we lose weight, it’s water weight, and we want to lose fat), which include reviewing your goals, looking at factors that affect your hormones, truly knowing what you are eating, realizing how much you’re actually eating, and giving fasted cardio on caffeine a try.
