38: Chicago Marathon Abridged

The 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon race director, Carey Pinkowski, staff and 17,000 volunteers put on an amazing show the weekend of October 10-12th.  There were a total of 45,000 runners along with 1.7 million spectators, also known as 40 fans per runner.

During this episode, I take a high-level view of the marathon and its impact on the community and the 45,000 runners who ran it.
