44: NYC Marathon Recap from the Spectators' Point of View

Serena Marie, RD and I have a fun time sharing our experiences of being spectators at the NYC Marathon. We discuss restaurants, what to eat, what not to eat, cheering for runners, the fun people we met along the way, and recommendations of how to find your runner. I also share my experience of attending the expo and meeting up with running greats Kathrine Switzer, Dean Karnazes, and Bart Yasso.

The gluten-free pizza restaurant I recommend is Don Antonio, located at 309 West 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen.
