60: Mike Silverman

Come along for the ride and hear about how my running gait was analyzed and what common runner weaknesses were revealed. It just took a few minor tweaks and my form quickly changed after having Mike Silverman, a physical therapist at the Tisch Sports Performance Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, analyze my strengths, weaknesses and gait. Mike shares a lot of information on what you can do to keep on running strong.

Our real food dietitian, Serena Marie, RD, discusses a study that reveals a correlation between a leaky gut and depression. During our discussion, Serena Marie, RD, clarifies what prebiotics and probiotics are and why they’re good for us.

Cliff Ravenscraft talks about his journey from focusing on making his business healthy, to now focusing on making his body healthy through zone training and running. We discuss how Cliff is training for his first-ever triathlon.

Sarah Boschung and I recap the NYC Meet-up that took place in February. Our monthly visitor, Vinnie Tortorich from Pure Vitamin Club, shares what key habits he changed to sleep soundly at night.

Our book of the month for March is Sleep Soundly Every Night, Feel Fantastic Every Day: A Doctor's Guide to Solving your Sleep Problems by Robert S. Rosenberg, DO, FCCP.
