152: Adrenal Fatigue with Jacob Teitelbaum, MD

The endurance sports industry is buzzing about adrenal fatigue. That’s why Dr. Teitelbaum, a board certified internist, is here to discuss what it is, how you know you have it, and why it’s complicated to diagnose it.

Dr. Teitelbaum shares the top vitamins and minerals—such as potassium, magnesium, and iron—of which runners are commonly deficient. He also explains what good stress and bad stress are. He addresses blood pressure and how magnesium and potassium play a factor in blood pressure.  Dr. Teitelbaum recommends Vectomega, which is made of fish oils and Omega 7, for dry hands. After using these two products for one month, I can say that my hands and skin have never looked better. Yay!

Serena Marie, RD, discusses the top three tips for saving money at the grocery store, which THIS article in Greatest discusses. You’ll hear some of our favorite things to buy at Costco, such as organic coconut oil, greens, salmon burgers, and Kerrygold butter.

We are so grateful for our friends and cats, that they replace our Runner of the Week segment this week. Seriously. Well, actually now that I think of it, cats are runners, so our runner, or should I say Runners, of the Week are cats!
