21: The Power of Connection

This week, I go one-on-one with you for Free for All Friday and talk about connection: what it means, how it's changed my life, and having intention when connecting.

As always on Friday Food of the Week, we talk with Serena Marie RD and reveal our food for the week, which is… collard greens! Find out how Serena shares why it's good (hint: it has sulfur, is an antioxidant and it helps detox our livers.)

Serena’s recipes calls for making collard greens as a wrap that holds a hotdog along with mustard and Sauerkraut. Yum!  Or you can make a tuna fish salad to put in the wrap.  Ingredients for Serena’s tuna fish salad is olive oil, capers, onions, tuna, balsamic vinegar to make it  “Italian Style”. You could also pump up the salad with other vegetables such as avocados and mix it with lemon juice and spices.

My recipe is to finely cut kale to use it as a base for a salad. Any leftover kale is used in an omelette.

Please share with us via email here how you like to use kale. I'll give shout-outs on the podcast for anyone with a recipe.
