63: Breaking News with Dean Karnazes and Friends

As we shared in many previous episodes, Serena and I REALLY wanted to run the New York City Marathon. WE ARE DOING IT!!!! PLEASE JOIN US!!!!!! You’re going to hear the details of why we’re running with Dean Karnazes and the great charity we are running for, Action for Healthy Kids. Oh, and to take on Dean’s ultimate challenge, Serena and I are running the Chicago Marathon just three weeks before the New York City Marathon!!!!!

The money raised for Action for Healthy Kids will help feed kids who normally wouldn’t have breakfast or lunch. In addition, the money goes toward much-needed sports equipment to get kids moving.

Every month we’ll have a check in with Dean and fellow runners from Team Healthy Kids to share their stories, challenges, and triumphs. The Running Lifestyle Show will also invite the donor who donates the most money from the previous month to Team Kari and Serena to come on the show and share their running story. Chicago and New York City, HERE WE COME!!! Run on!
