301: Relationships are EVERYTHING

We’re on lap three of four to celebrate 300 episodes. Why four laps? Because relationships are what lead to longevity and happiness and there is so little time and so many people to talk to. You’ll hear from five listeners of the podcast turned clients and how they’ve used The Running Lifestyle Show and The Flourishing Experiment to create even better relationships in their own lives.

As I said on both Episode 299 with Serena Marie, RD, and on Episode 300 with Kate Weymouth, MD: the best thing about having a podcast is the people you meet!

So, I circled back with listeners-turned-friends and realized how much goodness there was to share! Today you’ll hear from:

Jeff Webb

Mike Iserman

  • Why he reviewed the podcast and made a donation to The Running Lifestyle Show

  • What self-care practice he goes back to when things start going sideways

  • The business he started after completing the ten-week Flourishing Skills Group

Rene’ Kougel

  • How her natural curiosity and being a lifelong learner led her to join the Flourishing Skills Group

  • The importance of having a place to learn and grow when almost everything else is hard

  • How better understanding yourself and others leads to deeper connection in an organization

  • Why it’s okay not to be okay

  • The importance of playing to your strengths

Alice Jovy

  • What got her curious about flourishing

  • The habit she learned that had a huge positive effect on her life (Rene’ talked about this, too!)

  • How to combine fitness with tourism

Cheryl Rice

  • Creator of the “YOU MATTER Marathon” (no running required!) and the impact the “YOU MATTER Marathon” has had around the world

  • The super power you can put in your pocket

  • A truth bomb we all need to hear
